Good governance for sport clubs (online training, 3 hours)

In this online training participants will receive basic information about the Finnish Associations Act, membership, voluntary work, responsibilities and obligations, and also about operating the administrative functions of an association.

According to the law, everyone has the right to participate in association activities. An association can be for example a sports club. The rules of the association define how the association is organized and operated. It is the duty of the Board of Directors to handle matters in compliance with the law and the rules and decisions of the association.

This online training is suitable for everyone who is interested in administration of sports clubs, for members of a sports club or other association, and especially for members of sports club’s Board of Directors.
